Everton 2-1 West Ham United

Only goal difference separates these two sides in the PL table coming into this weekend and whilst this game may not have implications on the PL table, it will on Everton manager David Moyes, as he has the chance to prove West Ham they were wrong to let him go in the summer.

Everton are 8 PL games unbeaten coming into this fixture, their longest streak in nearly a decade, and whilst its been 3 draws in a row for The Toffee's, a draw at home to Man Utd and draws away to Brentford and Wolves are seen as acceptable results, especially as they are still scoring goals in those fixtures, with Moyes's men only 3 goals off matching Dyche's goals this season in 12 games less.

West Ham fans thought they had turned the corner under Graham Potter after back-to-back wins for the first time this season in the PL, but they were very lacklustre at home against Newcastle United last time out, and with Everton being a very physical side, they could easily get bullied the same way Newcastle were able to.

Ipswich Town 0-2 Nottingham Forest

Without a win in 2025, Ipswich are still holding hopes that their season can soon be kickstarted with The Tractor Boys sitting 6 points below Wolves, but with 7 losses and 2 draws in their last 9 PL games, they need a drastic change is results if they are going to stay up.

Forest fans were wondering if they were going to see an end of season drop-off from their team after defeats to Fulham and Newcastle, where they were well beaten, but a draw to Arsenal and beating Manchester City at home has put them in great stead for a final push to make The Champions League.

These two sides met each other in the FA Cup just over a week ago, with the two sides only separated by penalties after 120 minutes of football with Matz Sels saving Jack Taylor's penalty.

Manchester City 2-2 Brighton

Separated by just 1 point, this could be a crucial game for each clubs' European hopes come the end of the season, with Brighton riding a 4 game winning streak, whilst Man City have lost 3 of their last 5 in the PL.

Man City have notably had defensive issues this season, conceding 4 more goals this already this season than the entirety of last season's campaign, but they've also struggled at the other end of the pitch recently, scoring 6 goals in 5 games, and in their last 3 losses, in each game they've had less than 1xG.

Brighton are in the form of their lives since their 7-0 loss to Nottingham Forest, winning 6 in a row in all competitions and 4 in the PL, and its their improved defence that got them into a challenge for Champions League football, conceding 2 goals in 4 games, and less xG in these 4 games than in the embarrassing loss at The City Ground.

Southampton 0-2 Wolves

After 16 games, Wolves and Southampton were separated by just 4 points, and whilst both sides decided to change manager, only Wolves have reaped the rewards of change, picking up 14 points in the 12 games since and are 6 points above the drop-zone, whilst Southampton have picked up just 4 points and they are only playing for not becoming the worst side in PL history.

Southampton under Ivan Juric have been truly awful at St Mary's, with 5 games under the Croatian manager at home, Southampton have lost all 5, scoring twice and have conceded 16.

With 6 game in a row against sides in the bottom half of the table, Wolves have plenty of chances to pick up points to remain away from the relegation zone, but none will come better against a side that have conceded 14 goals in their last 4 games and they showed against Everton, that they are still a threat without Matheus Cunha.

Bournemouth 2-1 Brentford

Despite dropping down to 9th in the PL, Bournemouth are still in contention not just for European places, but for Champions League places, sitting 3 points off Man City in 5th, whilst Brentford have an opportunity to get into contention for a late push into European contention, as a win will put them just 3 points behind Bournemouth.

With just 4 points out of their last possible 15, Andoni Iraiola's Bournemouth have had their worst 5 game run of the PL season and whilst they dropped points against Spurs last time out in the PL, they will be encouraged that they were convincingly beating Spurs before two Kepa Arrizabalaga mistakes led to them losing their 2-0 lead.

Brentford were quite disappointing in their last game in the PL against Aston Villa, posing not much of a threat against a side that had just 1 away win in 9 PL away games, but Thomas Frank's side have been very impressive away from home themselves recently, winning their last 4 away from The Gtech Community Stadium, scoring 12 goals and only conceding once.

Arsenal 1-1 Chelsea

Both Arsenal and Chelsea have had struggles against other sides in the top 10 this season, with Arsenal winning just 3 times against other PL sides in the top 10, whilst Chelsea have won just 4 and their last came against Aston Villa on December 1st.

Arsenal are looking to get some goalscoring spark in the PL, but they are definitely missing their quality in their frontline, as they've the same xG in their last 3 PL games, 1.3, as compared to their 8 games prior, but they've managed just 1 goal in their last 3 PL games, as opposed to 17 in the 8 game prior.

Chelsea have really struggled against top teams under Enzo Maresca as the season has gone on, losing 4 and drawing 1 in their last 5 games against top 10 opposition, scoring 5 and conceding 12, but they might have gathered some confidence, winning four in a row, with wins over Copenhagen twice, Southampton and Leicester City.

Fulham 2-1 Spurs

After these two teams drew 1-1 on matchday 13, Spurs were a point above Fulham, with the sides sitting 7th and 10th, but since that point, Fulham have stayed consistent, still sitting in10th with 23 points in their last 15 games, whilst Spurs have just 14 points in their last 15 games and sit 13th in the table.

Fulham are a side that no PL side like to play against, conceding the 5th least shots (10.86 per game) in the league this season, and whilst they may not win every game, they are competitive in every game, as they only lost by 2+ goals just three times this season and have only conceded 2+ goals in 9 of their 28 games this season.

Whilst Spurs advanced in the Europa League over AZ Alkmaar, it still wasn't the most convincing performance, and they have to step-up against a top 10 PL team, which they've massively struggled in this season, having played 14 games against sides in the top 10, winning 2, drawing 2 and losing 10, scoring 22 goals and conceding 27.

Leicester City 0-3 Manchester United

For the 4th time this season, Leicester City and Manchester United are facing off against each other, but for the first time at The King Power Stadium, but they may be a good thing for Ruud Van Nistelrooy's side, having lost their last 6 PL games there, scoring none and conceding 15.

Leicester City in their last 5 PL games have been atrocious, losing all 5, scoring none, and conceding 13, and they managed to create a combined 1.5 xG in those 5 games, which has left that 6 points off safety in the PL, despite being outside of the drop-zone when Van Nistelrooy was appointed.

Whilst not something to write home about, United are slightly improving under Ruben Amorim, having not lost in their last 3 PL games, which has only happened once before this season during a spell under both Van Nistelrooy and Amorim, and with an impressive 4-1 over Real Sociedad during the week, The Red Devils will be confident coming up against The Foxes.
