As we are in the international break, its time to take stock and reflect on the season and in this article we are going to rank every transfer made in The Premier League this season with a rating from 1-10, with 1 being the worst and 10 being the best.

To be included in these lists, the player has had to be fit to make at least 1 PL appearance this season.

Arsenal

Ricardo Calafiori - 7 (£37.5m)

Despite some injury troubles restricting him to just 11 league starts, Calafiori has shown he has the capabilities to play for many years in the PL, and at just 22 years old from left back, he has come up with two crucial goals away to Manchester City and Wolves.

Mikel Merino - 6 (£26.5m)

Before the last couple of weeks, this score probably would've been a lot lower as Merino struggled to find a place in Arteta's midfield, completing over 70 minutes in a PL game just 6 times before being moved to striker due to injuries, but since this move, he has shown great versatility, completing 90 minutes 4 games in a row, with crucial goals against Leicester City and Chelsea.

David Raya - 9 (£26.5m)

We knew last season how important Raya was to Arsenal, providing a lot of assurance in between the sticks for Arteta, and in North London, he has turned into one of the worlds best keepers, with his height being the only real weakness to his game.

Neto - 1 (Loan)

Won't say much but it was weird to sign a cup keeper on loan that was already cup-tied in The Carabao Cup.

Raheem Sterling - 2 (Loan)

Playing under a former coach in Arteta, it was thought that Sterling may have his confidence improve after a miserable two years at Chelsea, but it has only got worse, with 1 goals and 4 assists this season, with Kieran Tierney picked ahead of him on the wing occasionally.

Aston Villa

Amadou Onana - 6 (£50m)
Image: Getty

Again another player hampered by injury this season, starting 14 PL games this season, and whilst when fit, he has performed well for Unai Emery's side, but for the price tag, more probably would've been expected from Onana, completing 90 minutes in the PL just 6 times.

Ian Maatsen - 3 (£37m)

After helping Borussia Dortmund reach The Champions League Final last season, and playing the full 90 in the final, Maatsen, despite the high price tag looked a great pickup for Villa, but he has certainly struggled to impress Emery, making just 4 PL starts with 31 year old Lucas Digne outperforming him in every department.

Jaden Philogene - 4 (£13.5m)

Philogene was clearly brought back to the club to be played and was not intentioned him to be sold 6 months later for a small profit, and whilst they made profit on the winger, it is still a failed signing as he didn't manage a goal or assist in 15 appearances.

Andreas Garcia - 4 (£5.9m)

Coming from the second division in Spain, Garcia looks like a promising player at 22 years, and he certainly wasn't expected to be relied upon so much immediately, but the Spaniard has struggled in the PL, winning jut 33% of his duels.

Donyell Malen - 4 (£21m)

Whilst its hard to judge Malen after just arriving in January, he has failed to make a great impression thus far, already being displaced by the other two January signings and is still yet to score or assist in his 7 games in Villa colours.

Axel Disasi - 6 (Loan)

As an emergency loan signing for the rest of the season, Disasi is a fine signing after letting go of Diego Carlos, and whilst he has not shone so far, he will do for Emery's side for the rest of the season.

Marco Asensio - 10 (Loan)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

It is staggering that more top clubs were not monitoring the loan signing of Asensio from PSG, but thankfully for Villa fans he chose to swap Paris for Birmingham, with the Spain international scoring 7 goals in 8 appearances, with just 3 starts and it looks like he is willing to make his move permanent in the summer.

Marcus Rashford - 8 (Loan)

Rashford's connection with Asensio has held up Villa's attack in the last few weeks, with the England international becoming a playmaker for Emery's side, with 4 assists in 9 appearances, and whilst he has not scored yet, he has looked threatening in every appearance for his new side.

Bournemouth

Evanilson - 7 (£31m)

Whilst the goals have not flooded in for Evanilson, with just 6 in the PL so far, he looks a threat in every game he plays, constantly making runs with his relentless energy and it feels a matter of time before the goals starting rolling in for the Brazilian.

Luis Sinisterra - 2 (£19.5m)

Injuries have plagued Sinisterra's campaign this season, starting just once in the PL this season and apart from his goal and assist cameo against Everton at the start of the season, he has failed to contribute any more to his side this season.

Enes Unal - 2 (£13.8m)

Unal and Sinisterra have had similar experiences at Bournemouth, joining permanently this summer after a loan last season, but this season injuries have derailed his season, managing just 2 goals and 2 starts and when his opportunity came to start more games due to injury troubles, he picked up a long term injury himself.

Dean Huijsen - 10 (£12.7m)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

Before Marco Senesi's injury, Huijsen started just 2 games in Bournemouth first 13 games, but has started every game since and has shone in every aspect, with great ball-playing ability, strong ariel abilities , great positioning and is not afraid to get stuck in.

Julian Araujo - 3 (£8.4m)

Araujo was intentioned to be Bournemouth's starting right back, not just for this season but going forward, and whilst he still could come good, he has been injured for the majority of the season, starting just 5 PL games and when he did play, he struggled, winning just 40% of his tackles and 36% of his duels.

Daniel Jebbison - 2 (Free)

Jebbison was signed on a free in the summer and spent the first half of the season on loan at Watford and was recalled to the club after their striker injuries, but the 21 year old still failed to make a great impact on Adoni Iraiola's side, scoring just once in 1 start and was not trusted to lead the line ahead of wingers.

Kepa Arrizabalaga - 8 (Loan)

As a loan signing, Kepa has been a great signing for Bournemouth as the Spanish keeper has in the most part, boasting his 4th best save% of his career at 76% and has made the 5th most saves per game in the PL, with 3.45 per game.

Brentford

Igor Thiago - 2 (£27.5m)

So far the Igor Thiago signing has been a disaster for Brentford, as the Brazilian striker has made just 4 PL appearances, with just 1 start, and whilst at 23 years old, there is still plenty of time for him to come good, two major injuries in his first season is a red flag for any player.

Sepp van den Berg - 7 (£19.7m)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

Whilst he has not completely shone in a Brentford shirt, Van den Berg has been a consistent in Thomas Frank's side, playing at both centre back and right back and at 23 years old, he looks a great signing for many years to come.

Fabio Carvalho - 3 (£19.6m)

Carvalho's move to Brentford from Liverpool was majorly hyped, but he has failed to deliver yet, scoring just twice in the PL, with his first a 5th against Wolves and his second a 4th against Leicester, but his teammate Mikel Damsgaard shows that whilst struggling now, he can still come good and at 22 years old, he still has plenty of time.

Michael Kayode - 3 (Loan)

Signed on a loan with an option to buy, clearly Kayode, who is a highly rated right back, hasn't impressed Frank thus far, as the 20 year old has racked up just 33 minutes of playing time and has picked up a knee injury that has kept him out the past month and again, he might come good but so far the transfer hasn't worked out.

Brighton

Greorginho Rutter - 7 (£39m)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

Its easy to forget that Rutter is still just 22 years old and looks to have many more years at the top level as he's made a good impression in his first season at Brighton, and whilst he's been in and out of form at times, he's has the 2nd most PL appearances for Fabian Hurzeler's team and the 4th most goals and assists.

Yankuba Minteh - 7 (£29.3m)

Minteh started the first 4 games for Brighton this season, but then just 2 of the next 16 and questions were made of his ability to perform in the PL at a young age, but recently he has been magnificent, 7 starts in Brighton's last 8 games, with the Gambian managing 3 goals and 2 assists, and his total of 8 goal contributions is the joint most of players aged 20 and under.

Mats Wieffer - 3 (£26.8m)

Wieffer had a number of suitors around Europe as he showed great promise as a defensive midfielder at Feyenoord, but at 25, he isn't a youth prospect and was expected to contribute immediately, however, he has struggled with the intensity of the PL and has managed just 4 starts and with none coming in 2025.

Brajan Gruda - 4 (£26.4m)

Coming into a side that had already bought Minteh, Rutter, and already had Karou Mitoma, Joao Pedro, Solly March, Julio Enciso and Simon Adingra in attacking positons to compete with, it was always going to be hard to find a place, and Gruda has struggled with just 13 PL appearances and 5 starts, and whilst technically he looks good and could have a great future, he hasn't performed over any other players when given chances this season.

Ferdi Kadioglu - 3 (£25m)

Kadioglu is yet another player who has had a season derailed by injury, with just 6 appearances and 5 starts this season, which is a shame as he is such a versatile player, having already played 3 positions in the PL so far and he showed early promise for the Seagulls, but his injury this season does majorly lower his score so far.

Matt O'Riley - 6 (£25m)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

After injuring himself at the start of the season and again recently, O'Riley's first season at Brighton has certainly had ups and downs, as his debut saw a winning goal over Manchester City, but whilst promising moments on the ball, he has struggled to cement a place in Hurzeler's side with just 5 starts and yet to complete 90 minutes in the PL.

Diego Gomez - 7 (£10.9m)

Gomez has come into a Brighton side that had been lacking some intensity in midfield and immediately plugged some gaps in the middle of the park, with the most tackles and interceptions per 90 of any Brighton player (6.07) and has already been trusted with a start and 74 minutes of game time at the Etihad.

Eiran Cashin - 1 (£9m)

Cashin had a really promising first half of the season at Derby County and they reluctantly sold him to Brighton in January, but since his move, he has not played a minute for his new side and whilst he still could come good, not even a minute in the FA cup or against Southampton is not a good sign for a new signing.

Chelsea

Pedro Neto - 5 (£50.2m)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

A highly rated player with PL experience, a lot more would've been expected of Neto in a Chelsea shirt this season, especially with the price tag, and with just 7 G+A in the PL so far and not a guaranteed starter in a Chelsea side screaming out for help for Cole Palmer, more is expected of Neto.

Joao Felix - 1 (£43.5m)

Signing Joao Felix for that price always felt a bit strange considering Palmer's place in the team and Felix's spell already at Chelsea, but the fact that he has already been allowed to be loaned out without a replacement shows what value he has to Chelsea.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall - 1 (£29.6m)

Swapping Conor Gallagher for Dewsbury-Hall always felt like a weird decision in the summer, but with Dewsbury-Hall joining Enzo Maresca from Leicester, it made some sense, but with just 1 PL start and 199 PL minutes overall, it looks as if he could be on his way out of Chelsea in the summer.

Renato Veiga - 5 (£11.7m)

Veiga was one of the few Chelsea youth signings in the past few years that was trusted in the first team, starting a lot in the cups and making 7 PL appearances and he looked comfortable at left back and centre back and he has also shown promise on loan at Juventus and he is one of the few players who could have a future at this club.

Marc Guiu - 3 (£5m)

Despite 6 goals in the Conference League, Guiu, who was signed for the first team has not come close to breaking into Maresca's side, despite missing a true number 9 since Nicholas Jackson's injury and whilst he is still just 19, he hasn't managed a shot in 73 minutes of PL football.

Jadon Sancho - 2 (Loan)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

Sancho started out life at Chelsea very well, with 3 assists in his first 3 appearances, but as time has gone on, he has progressively got worse, with the forward without an assist in 9 PL games and goal in 15, and the fact they are considering paying not to keep him at the club shows how well he is doing.

Tosin Adarabioyo - 7 (Free)

The fact he's a free transfer and 27 years old, probably makes Tosin not as desirable as all the young and expensive Chelsea signings, but he's been as good as any other Chelsea centre back this season, but with just 11 PL starts, he's still not fully trusted by Maresca.

Crystal Palace

Eddie Nketiah - 3 (£24.8m)

As Palace's 2nd highest transfer, a lot was expected of Nketiah coming from Arsenal, with him expected to break out of the shadow and show what he is capable of, but with just 1 goal and 1 assist in the PL so far, with just 7 starts, it hasn't worked out for the 25 year old so far in South London.

Maxence Lacroix - 9 (£15.1m)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

When Joachin Andersen left in the summer, a lot was made about what his absence could cause to Palace, but Lacroix has made Palace fans forget about Andersen quickly, with the French centre back being a dominant figure at the back for Oliver Glasner's side and looks a steal for price they paid for him.

Ismaila Sarr - 8 (£12.5m)

In Palace's first 8 games where they picked up just 3 points from draws, Sarr started just once and was played mainly as a wing back, but since then, he has started every PL game as a forward and Palace have been the 5th best team in the PL, with Sarr contributing the 2nd most goal contributions with 10.

Chadi Riad - 1 (12.5m)

Injuries have plagued Riad's first season at Palace, with a knee two knee injuries leading to him playing just 3 games in all competitions, and despite having just turned 22, two major knee injuries in his first season is not a good sign of things to come with the Moroccan not expected back until 2026.

Daichi Kamada - 3 (Free)

Whilst its not a total coincidence that in Kamada's 10 PL starts, Palace have managed 0.9 points per game, compared to 1.3 per game when he doesn't, it does show that Kamada may not have had the impact expected of him from his free transfer from Lazio as the attacking midfielder is yet to register to a goal or assist in the PL.

Trevoh Chalobah - 8 (Loan)

It's a shame that Chalobah was recalled to Chelsea in January as he was forming a great partnership with Lacroix and Marc Guehi as the trio conceded just 10 goals in 10 PL games together but its not Palace's fault that Chelsea couldn't see his talent in the first place.#

Ben Chilwell - 5 (Loan)

He's only plated 5 games for Palace so far, with just 1 start, but Chilwell's experience and quality could help Palace in a potential European push come the end of the season, and the fact its a loan with little risks for the Eagles, signing a player of Chilwell's potential quality when fit is a great signing for Palace.

Everton

Jake O'Brien - 7 (£16.3m)

Under Dyche, this score would've been a 1 as the Irish defender played just 38 minutes of football under his former boss, but since David Moyes has come in and placed O'Brien at right back, he has been superb and since he came in as a starter, Everton have not lost a game.

Iliman Ndiaye - 8 (£15.1m)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

In what was a troublesome season up front for Everton under Dyche, Ndiaye was the one player who showed some attacking quality, always wanting to get on the ball and create something, and its a shame he been injured recently as he managed 3 goals in 5 PL games under Moyes.

Tim Iroegbunam - 5 (£9m)

Iroegbunam was clearly part of the FFP/PSR swap with Aston Villa with Lewis Dobbin going the other way, and he was trusted early with 3 starts in the first 3 PL games, but he hasn't had one since, but under Moyes he has shown promise off the bench with the midfielder averaging the most tackles and interceptions per90 (6.98) of any Everton player.

Jesper Lindstrom - 3 (Loan)

Its been 2 years and 2 months since Lindstrom last scored a goal in professional football, so it shouldn't had been goals Everton fans were expecting from the Dane, but with just 1 assist in the PL, its not a great return for the winger and despite contributing well to the structure under Moyes, he will have to contribute more in the run-in for Everton to buy him permanently.

Orel Mangala - 7 (Loan)

Despite Mangala missing the rest of the season with a knee injury, Mangala had already shown his qualities this season for Everton, being the trusted midfielder of both Dyche and Moyes as Everton lost just 4 games in 14 where the Belgian midfielder started and if it wasn't for his ACL injury, Everton would've definitely enquired about keeping him permanently.

Armando Broja - 1 (Loan)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

Despite it being just a loan signing, Broja has had quite a disappointing spell at the Toffees, picking up multiple injuries with the striker playing just 6 times in the PL and is still yet to register a goal or assist for the club.

Carlos Alcaraz - 7 (Loan)

Alcaraz has certainly added some dynamism since his return to the PL, grabbing a goal and assist in his 6 PL games so far and he has already created the 3rd most big chances (4) of any Everton player this season in the PL

Fulham

Emile Smith Rowe - 7 (£26.6m)

After 3 PL starts and just 25 appearances in the past two seasons, it was a risk spending so much on Smith Rowe, and whilst he hasn't set the world alight with 5 goals and 2 assists in the PL, he has started 22 games and has been a consistent threat in a Fulham side pushing for European football.

Joachim Andersen - 8 (£24.6m)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

Since rejoining the club in the summer, Andersen has brought a calming presence at the back for Marco Silva's side, with his game complimenting Calvin Bassey's perfectly, with Fulham picking up 25 points from 15 games the pair have started together in a back two, an average of 1.67, which is higher than Man City's average this season.

Sander Berge - 7 (£19.7m)

When Joao Palhiniha was sold to Bayern Munich in the summer, it was thought that Fulham's midfield would be overrun without him, but Berge has fit in his place perfectly, breaking up play in the middle and keeping it simple on the ball.

Jorge Cuenca - 3 (£5.6m)

For the price, Cuenca was seen as a steal in the summer, but with the form of Bassey, Andersen and Diop at the back, it is hard for the Spanish central defender to break into the team with just 2 PL starts all season and despite him impressing in the cups, its going to take a lot for him to find a consistent starting spot.

Ryan Sessegnon - 6 (Free)

Sessegnon had to wait a long time for his chances on the pitch this season, being an unused sub 16 times in the PL this season, but recently, Marco Silva has given the 24 year old more chances and he has repaid them with 2 goals in 3 PL games and looks to be another player reborn at Fulham.

Willian - 5 (Free)

Willian, still going at 36, is a great free signing to re-join Fulham to help out in a European battle and whilst he isn't going to start every week, he adds experience to the side and shown in his first start against Spurs, he is still a threat at his age.

Reiss Nelson - 3 (Loan)

Before his season ending hamstring injury, Nelson was just starting to become a regular in Marco Silva's side, starting 5 games in a row after putting in some threatening performances off the bench, but just 1 goal and 1 assist in a loan spell is not going to get a positive rating.

Ipswich Town

Omari Hutchinson - 7 (£19.7m)

A lot was put on Hutchinson's shoulders in the PL this season, with a lot of the creative burden up top put on him at 21 years old, which is quite unfair on his point, and he has shown some flashes of promise, with 3 goals and 2 assists, but in a team clearly not at PL level, it is hard to be effective at such a young age in your first PL season.

Jacob Greaves - 4 (£18m)

If Greaves joined a more established PL team, he probably woul've been looked upon better this season, but he is so exposed in this Ipswich side that he is bound to make mistakes every game, and despite dealing with a lot of situations well, Ipswich's defence is very easily exposed.

Liam Delap - 10 (£14.9m)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

If it wasn't for Delap this season, Ipswich would've been around Southampton as the worse PL team ever, with his 10 goals and 2 assists accounting for 43% of Ipswich's goals this season and will be certainly on the move this summer, with a host of top clubs reportedly enquiring about the 22 year old.

Jack Clarke - 3 (£14.8m)

After 26 goals and 16 assists in the past two Championship seasons, Clarke was highly regarded coming into the PL, but he has certainly struggled, starting just 8 times, with only 4 assists to his name and has less shots on goal than defender Dara O'Shea, with there possibly being a confidence issue from being the main guy at Sunderland to just another player at Ipswich.

Dara O'Shea - 4 (£11.9m)

Like Greaves, had O'Shea not joined Burnley last season and Ipswich this season, he could be regarded higher as he is exposed every single game, and like Greaves, in most games he does stop a lot, but with how much he is exposed, he also makes mistakes as Ipswich hold the 3rd worst defence in the league.

Sammie Szmodics - 5 (£8.9m)

At 29 years old and coming off being the Championship top scorer, Szmodics was brought in to contribute to the team immediately, but the Irishman has been placed on the left hand side and with him not being blessed with pace or elite dribbling, he has struggled there in the PL, and while he has netted 4 goals, he was brought in for immediate success and more was expected from him.

Arijanet Muric - 1 (£8m)

In hindsight buying players that were relegated with Burnley last season is not a good transfer strategy to stay in the PL and the fact that Muric has already been replaced with another goalkeeper signing this season probably says everything off what Kieran McKenna thinks of the Bosnian keeper.

Chiedozie Ogbene - 1 (£8m)

We will never know what Ogbene would've contributed this season for Ipswich, but after just 5 PL appearances, Ogbene was ruled out for the rest of the season, however, in those 5 games, 3 starts, he managed just 2 chances created and not a single shot on goal, and with a player very reliant on pace, it will be very hard for 27 year old Ogbene to recover from an Achilles rupture.

Conor Townsend - 2 (£490,000)

With Leif Davis' place in the starting line-up never in doubt, Townsend's gametime was never going to be guaranteed this season and that is shown with just 3 PL appearances, but in his single PL start against Aston Villa, he played very well and was a big factor in his side picking up a clean sheet.

Alex Palmer - 7 (£2m)

Whilst Ipswich have not yet kept a clean sheet with Palmer in goal, he is more of an assured figure in between the sticks for Ipswich, as with Muric the team became almost expectant of him to make a mistake, whilst Palmer keeps it more simple and reassured at the back.

Ben Johnson - 3 (Free)

Johnson moved from West Ham to Ipswich to establish himself as a PL starter, but has yet to have that fulfilled as Johnson has struggled so far at Ipswich, starting just 9 PL games, and with Johnson prided on his defensive capabilities, having just a 45% duel win% and a 47% tackle win% is not a statistic of a top PL full back.

Jens Cajuste - 3 (Loan)

Coming in from Napoli, Cajuste came in with some pedigree into this Ipswich side, but he hasn't stood out amongst the rest and whilst he has shown shown flashes with his athletic ability and decent ball playing skills, but like every other Ipswich player, he has many moments in a game where he is caught out in a bad position.

Kalvin Phillips - 2 (Loan)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

Phillips was brought in to bring some Premier League experience into the middle of the park, but what he has shown so far is not that, with the on loan City midfielder looking a shell of his former self from his days at Leeds, winning just 39.5% of his tackles and is a traffic cone in midfield at times with his injuries hindering his once great intensity in midfield.

Jaden Philogene - 5 (£19.7m)

Ipswich nearly got Philogene in the summer, but had to settle for his arrival in January for a higger price, and despite his two gifted goal against Man Utd, he hasn't exactly shone for a club record fee with Ipswich losing every single PL game he has played so far, obviously its not all on him.

Julio Enciso - 4 (Loan)

Enciso has been trusted by McKenna since his move on loan in January, starting 4 of a possible 7 PL games, and whilst it led to just a singular point, he's added some directness to the Ipswich attack, with 12 shots in 5 games, which is the same total as Conor Chaplin, and 1 less than Jack Taylor and Jack Clarke.

Ben Godfrey - 1 (Loan)

Godfrey is the only signing Ipswich made this season with over 100 appearances in the top 5 European Leagues and is the 3rd choice right back for McKenna and in his only 2 PL starts so far, Ipswich has conceded 10 goals and he looks well off the ability required at this level.

Leicester City

Oliver Skipp - 1 (£19.7m)

Having Skipp as their big signing this summer probably doomed Leicester from the beginning as the former Spurs midfielder is not even making the matchday squad recently under Ruud Van Nistelrooy and when likely sold this summer, if Ruud is kept, they will get a fraction of what they paid for him.

Bilal El Khannouss - 6 (£17.2m)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

After just 3 starts under Steve Cooper, Van Nistelrooy has definitely seen to it that El Khannouss get the required game time, starting every PL game under Ruud, producing 2 goals and an assist, and whilst he shows flashes of brilliance, he is spearheading a Leicester attack that has 0 goals in their last 6 games and have failed to score in 11 of Ruud's 16 PL games.

Issahaku Fatawu - 6 (£13.6m)

After a great season in the Championship, it was no surprise Leicester made his deal permanent, but an ACL injury after just 11 games and despite being injured for that long, he still has the 3rd most assists and 2nd most successful take-ons, showing just what Leicester have been missing on the wing.

Caleb Okoli - 3 (£11.7m)

Okoli was brought in as a promising, young, all-action defender from Atalanta but he has yet to become a consistent starter, with the likes of Jannik Vestergaard, Wout Faes and Conor Coady all ahead of him in the pecking order, which is not a good sign for him considering the names and qualities in that list.

Jordan Ayew - 3 (£4.9m)

Despite coming off his best season in terms of goal contributions for Crystal Palace, the signing of 33 year old Jordan Ayew raised many eyebrows amongst Leicester fans and whilst he brings excellent work-rate, his end quality has never been top quality, however, he has managed 4 goals in the PL, the 2nd most in the side.

Woyo Couliably - 2 (£2.5m)

Whilst in freefall, signing an average Serie A right back in Woyo Coulibaly was never going to go down well, and even if he was a success, which he hasn't been, what difference would he had made this season?

Bobby Decordova-Reid - 2 (Free)

Like Ayew, Decordova-Reid has his best season in the PL last season at Fulham, with 6 goals and 2 assists, but he has little effect on Leicester this season, with just 1 goal and 2 assists and has totalled just 6 shots and 6 chances created in the PL this season.

Facundo Buonanotte - 5 (Loan)

Buonanotte had a really bright start to his loan spell at the King Power Stadium, with 3 goals and 2 assists in his first 7 appearances, but has managed just 1 goal since and none in his last 14 PL appearances and has started just 4 times under Ruud.

Liverpool

Federico Chiesa - 1 (£10m)

A lot of positive was said when Chiesa joined Liverpool for the price Arne Slot's side paid, but he has had no effect on this season, with just 11 appearances and just 3 in the PL, with his 3 starts coming in meaningless games; West Ham in the Carabao Cup, Plymouth in the FA Cup and PSV on the final matchday of the Champions League.

Manchester City

Savinho - 7 (£20.9m)

Whilst Savinho was technically bought, he was more passed over from one hand to the other, but none the less he has shown promise in his first season at 20 years old, leading Man City in assists in the PL with 7.

Ilkay Gundogan - 3 (Free)

When Gundogan re-joined City in the summer, it probably was not expected for him to be the starting defensive midfielder and whilst its not on him, he has really struggled with the physicality of the league at his age, with City averaging 1.47 points per game when he starts, which would place them 11th in the PL.

Omar Marmoush - 6 (£62.7m)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

For the price City paid for Marmoush, City fans were probably expecting a bit more from the Egyptian considering the numbers he put up in Germany, and whilst he has looked bright, and his hattrick against Newcastle and goal against Brighton are impressive, he has still blanked in 8 of his 10 appearances for the Citizens and is yet to register an assist.

Nico Gonzalez - 5 (£50.2m)

Whilst Nico was brought in as an emergency signing in January, there is still more of a long term view with him at 23 years old, and whilst he has brought some stability to the midfield, with City conceding 4 times in the 390 PL minutes he's played, he has struggled with the physicality, winning just 41% of his ground duels and 40% of his tackles.

Abdukodir Khusanov - 8 (£33.4m)

A lot of pundits still underrate Khusanov because of his first 10 minutes against Chelsea, but since that moment, he has shown that he has not just great potential but good quality right now, and has won the trust of Pep Guardiola, starting 8 out of a possible 10 games.

Vitor Reis - 5 (£31m)

It is unfair to judge Reis on his Man City experience so far as his only two appearances came in the FA Cup against Leyton Orient and Plymouth, and at 19 years old, he could have a great future at City, but as of yet, despite defensive struggles, he hasn't won the trust of Guardiola yet.

Manchester United

Leny Yoro - 5 (£51.9)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

Yoro clearly has talent and as the season has gone on, he has looked more comfortable in a United shirt, but injuries have majorly disrupted his first campaign at Old Trafford, with the teenager only starting 7 PL games, and for the money spent with just a year left on his contract at Lille, more was definitely expected of him this season.

Manuel Ugarte - 4 (£41.8m)

Ugarte certainly does bring some defensive intensity to the United midfield that has severly lacked it over the past couple of seasons, but is certainly not the complete package yet, lacking the ball playing skills of an elite midfielder, but also has only won 41.7% of his tackles in the PL.

Matthijs de Ligt - 7 (£37.6m)

After a tricky first couple of months at United, De Ligt has grown over the season in a red shirt and has become United most reliable centre back, both in terms of availability and performance, winning 70% of his tackles and 66% of his ariel duels.

Joshua Zirkzee - 2 (£35.6m)

Whilst Zirkzee has looked more comfortable in the past couple of weeks in the no.10 position, he still looks below the level to play at an elite level in the PL, and with just 3 goals and 1 assist in the PL this season and none since December 1st, he needs to start producing more goals for the team if he is going to have a future at Old Trafford.

Noussair Mazaroui - 8 (£12.5m)

Mazaroui has been a swiss-army knife at Man Utd this season, playing wing back on both sides, centre back and even as a no.10 once, and he certainly looks most comfortable as a wide centre back, with Moroccan making the most tackles and interceptions of an United player in the PL and has even won 70.2% of his ariel duels.

Patrick Dorgu - 8 (£25m)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

The signing of Dorgu has shown the importance of natural wing-backs to Ruben Amorim's system, as United have only lost once when Dorgu has started and look a completely different threat with his presence down the left hand side, with his physicality clearly another level to any other Untied player, winning 43 duels in the 6 games he's played.

Ayden Heaven - 9 (£1m)

For just £1 million, Heaven looks like a steal for United for what he has shown so far, comfortably fitting in at just 18 years old and in an unsettled team it is even more impressive.

Newcastle United

Lewis Hall - 9 (£27.6m)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

We saw towards the back-end of last season why Hall was recruited by Newcastle, and its obvious why Newcastle triggered the option to buy as Hall has become one of the best left backs in the PL and if it wasn't for his injury, probably would've been a guaranteed starter for England.

Odysseas Vlachodimos - 1 (£19.7m)

Vlachodimos was clearly part of the FFP/PSR dealings with Nottingham Forest as there was no reason for him to be worth his price tag, a year after he was bought for £7.5 million and was replaced as their no.1, and with just 45 minutes this season, he's probably on his way out this summer.

William Osula - 3 (£9.7m)

Osula is clearly a player for the future at Newcastle at 21 years old, but he has only started 3 times in the cups this season and has only played 71 minutes in the PL with 10 sub appearances with 7 of them lasting under 10 minutes.

Lloyd Kelly - 4 (Free)

Whilst Newcastle will likely get a good fee for Kelly if his loan conditions are met at Juventus come the end of the season, but it is still a disappointment for Newcastle as Kelly was supposed to come in on a free and perform well for the Magpies, but after just 4 PL starts, he was allowed to leave to Juventus on loan, where he hasn't shone either.

Nottingham Forest

Elliot Anderson - 10 (£34.5m)

Whilst the fee is a bit steep, Anderson has been instrumental in Forest's push for Champions League football this season, with the English midfielder making the most tackles and interceptions of any Forest player, completed the most passes of any midfielder for Forest and has completed the most take-ons in the Forest squad.

Nikola Milenkovic - 10 (£10.3m)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

Milenkovic has been on the radar for a lot of European clubs for a few seasons, but his all-action style put a lot of teams off, but he is a perfect fir for Nuno Espirito-Santo's side, winning the 9th most ariel duels in the PL, with the 4th highest success rate (71.6%) and having the 9th most clearances in the PL (141).

Ramon Sosa - 3 (£10m)

At 25 years old, Sosa was expected to make a bit more of an immediate impact at Forest this season, but he has started just once in the PL with 14 appearances overall with 8 of those being under 15 minutes and the Paraguayan has not scored in the PL since the 5th game of the season against Brighton.

Morato - 6 (£9.2m)

Morato's role this season for Forest has mostly been to come on and help see the game out for his side, with 16/20 of his appearances coming off the bench and when's he been brought onto a drawing or winning position, Forest haven't dropped a point.

Jota Silva - 5 (£5.9m)

Jota came off a great season with Vitoria in Portugal with 11 goals and 5 assists, and whilst he has has some good cameos off the bench for Forest, with 2 goals and 1 assist, he hasn't set the world alight at Forest, and whilst he has 2 goals in his last 3 sub appearances, it still took him 23 PL appearances to grab his first and his goals came with the 7th against Forest and 4th against Ipswich.

Alex Moreno - 4 (Loan)

Moreno started off as the starting left back when he joined on loan from Aston Villa, starting 9 games in a row from matchweek 4-12, but has only played 3 times since as he can be got at defensively, with the full back winning just 41.2% of his tackles, with no other Forest player below 58%.

Southampton

Taylor Harwood-Belis - 4 (£19.2m)

Its hard to give any Southampton player a good rating this season, and a lot of the blame for this season is the recruitment team for buying so many inexperienced players and asking them to play such an open way in the PL, and whilst Harwood-Belis is clearly a competent, he has made the most errors leading to a goal (4) of any outfield player in the PL this season.

Aaron Ramsdale - 3 (£17.9m)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

Ramsdale was brought into Southampton to be a figurehead in their relegation fight, but he has been just as susceptible to Southampton's season as their young players and hasn't been the leader in that defence, with English keeper having a save % of 66.9%, the worst of his career as a starter and ranks 17/23 for PL keepers with at least 10 appearances.

Flynn Downes - 2 (£14.9m)

Downes was brought to Southampton after helping the side to promotion last season, but he has not translated his performances to the PL this season, making the most errors leading to a goal of any midfielder in the PL and is not a guaranteed starter for the Saints under Ivan Juric.

Cameron Archer - 2 (£14.7m)

Despite obvious struggles with Sheffield United last season, Southampton still shelled out for Archer this season, and has continued his struggles down south, with just 2 goals in 26 PL appearances and with a conversion rate of just 8%, only 4 PL strikers have a worse conversion rate.

Mateus Fernandes - 6 (£12.5m)

In such a bad season for Southampton, Fernandes has been one of a few bright sparks this season, always looking to do something with the ball, with the Portuguese attacking midfielder having the most shots and chances created of any Southampton player in the PL this season.

Ben Brereton Diaz - 1 (£6.9m)

Certainly in hindsight, buying relegated Sheffield United's strike force was a bad decision in the summer as Brereton-Diaz made no impact this season at Southampton, not scoring in 10 PL appearances before leaving on loan back to Sheffield United in January.

Yukinari Sugawara - 3 (£5.9m)

Sugawara's trade at AZ Alkmaar was as an attacking full back, and in one of the worst PL teams in history, that was never going to be a good fit for the Japanese international, who has struggled against most wingers he has faced this season, with Southampton picking up just 3 points from 3 draws in the 15 PL games he has started this season.

Nathan Wood - 2 (£2.9m)

Wood was a decent ball playing centre back for Swansea in the Championship last season but to jump from that to the PL was always going to be difficult and he has certainly struggled, playing just 9 PL games this season, and in his 624 minutes of gametime, he has conceded 16 goals, which is on average a goal conceded every 39 minutes.

Ronnie Edwards - 2 (£2.9m)

Like Wood, Edwards was known for his ball playing capabilities in League One for Peterborough, and the transition for him also to the PL has been difficult, and after just 12 minutes of PL football, the 21 year old was sent out on loan to QPR, where he has shown promise.

Charlie Taylor - 2 (Free)

Taylor certainly wasn't brought in to start week-in, week-out for Southampton, but he must've expected a bit more playing time than just 266 minutes of PL football and just 45 since the turn of the year.

Adam Lallana - 3 (Free)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

Lallana was obviously brought back to his boyhood to end his career and add some experience to the side as the England midfielder hasn't start more than 20 PL games since the 2016/17 season, but with just 36 minutes of football in 2025 despite no injury troubles, Lallana is not producing on the pitch for Southampton.

Wellington - 4 (Free)

Despite it being just 172 minutes of PL football, Wellington has showed some promise in his appearances for Southampton, winning 10 tackles and 69% of his duels, giving Saints fans some promise for him in the Championship next season.

Ryan Fraser - 1 (Free)

Despite starting just 13 times in the Championship last season and just 4 goals and 7 assists in his last 3 PL seasons, Southampton still decided to sign Fraser on a free, but he clearly hasn't impressed either Russell Martin or Juric, as the Scotsman has played just 306 minutes of PL football and 3 in 2025, where he managed just 1 shot and 2 chances created.

Lesley Ugochukwu - 5 (Loan)

Ugochukwu has showed some flashes of why Chelsea bought him from Rennes, averaging the most tackles and interceptions of any Southampton player with more than 2 90s of football, but when he has started for the Saints, they average 2.8 goals conceded per game.

Albert Gronbaek - 4 (Loan)

Since Gronbaek joined Southampton on loan at the end of January, he has started twice under Juric, once in their win over Ipswich and the other in their recent game over Liverpool, and whilst he looked comfortable, he didn't stand out and probably won't change the fate of Southampton this season.

Maxwel Cornet - 1 (Loan)

Cornet joined Southampton on loan to add some PL experience to the side, but was never trusted by Russell Martin from the start, playing just 72 minutes of PL football in the first half of the season before having the loan terminated.

Tottenham Hotspur

Dominic Solanke - 5 (£53.8m)

With all the chances Spurs made last season without a natural centre forward, it was thought the Solanke, who had the best season of his career would thrive at Spurs, but it hasn't clicked yet, with the English striker netting just 7 times in the PL, and just like every other season in his career, he is underperforming his xG.

Archie Gray - 8 (£34.5m)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

Coming through at Leeds Untied, Gray was a central midfielder, and that is still his natural position, but he has just started once there in the PL this season, with all his over starts coming in defence and whilst he has struggled there, he couldn't have done much more in a struggling Spurs side and showed his great teamwork and adaptability at just 18 years old.

Wilson Odebert - 3 (£24.5m)

At 20 years old, Odebert has shown sparks this season that he could have a great future ahead of him, but he has had an injury plagued first season, leading to just 8 PL appearances and is without a goal or assist in the PL.

Lucas Bergvall - 9 (£8.4m)

Despite his inclusion into the squad was forced by injuries after just 81 minutes in the PL after 15, Bergvall has grown as the season has progressed and has embarrassed some of the more senior players with his performances and his work-rate in each game he plays.

Antonin Kinsky - 4 (£13.8m)

At 21 years, Kinsky was thrown into the deep end coming in from the Czech league, and whilst he has shown some promise for the future, he only has a 56.3% save rate and when Guglielmo Vicario came back into the squad, he was a clear level up over the youngster.

Matthys Tel - 2 (Loan)

We don't know yet if Tel is going to be at Spurs for the long term, but thus far he hasn't shown too much promise, scoring once in his 7 appearances so far, and in the PL he has completed just 21% of his dribbles and 25% of his duels as he is clearly struggling with the extra physicality of the PL.

Kevin Danso - 6 (Loan)

Danso had come at a hard time for Spurs at the back after conceding 18 goals in their last 8 PL games, and in his 4 PL starts, Spurs have conceded 4, which whilst not perfect, is a big improvement for Ange Postecoglou's side.

West Ham United

Max Kilman - 7 (£39.7m)

The price tag for Kilman will always raise eyebrows, but he has been a consistent figure at the back for West Ham this season, starting every PL game, as West Ham have gone from conceding 1.95 goals per game last season to 1.69 this season.

Crysencio Summerville - 3 (£24.5m)

After 31 goal contributions for Leeds last season, much was expected of Summerville in his return to the PL, but it hasn't clicked for him yet, with just 1 goal and 1 assist in the PL, but with just 1 appearance under Graham Potter, where he grabbed an assist, injury has blocked us from knowing his capabilities under his new manager.

Niclas Fulkrug - 1 (£22.6m)

Spending so much on a 31 year old, this was the season where Fulkrug was expected to contribute the most for West Ham, but injuries has led to just 11 appearances, and when he has played, he's looked off the pace with him scoring just twice, both coming after the opposing team had easily won the game.

Luis Guilherme - 1 (£19.2m)

A lot of hype was put on this transfer, bringing in a Brazilian wonderkid but Guilherme's time at West Ham has not been successful so far, with just 63 minutes of football and has not been favoured by Julian Lopetegui or Potter and in January he was almost sold to Saudi Arabia.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka - 8 (£14.7m)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

Wan-Bissaka has taken to the new responsibility at West Ham, contributing both defensively and offensively, making the most tackles and interceptions of any West Ham player and his 2 goals and 2 assists is as many goal contributions as he's had at Man Utd in the last 3 seasons.

Guido Rodriguez - 3 (Free)

Like Fulkrug, Rodriguez at 30 years old was brought in to contribute to this West Ham side now and at the start of the season, he was the preferred defensive midfeilder, starting the first 11 games of the season, but has only started 3 since and is out of favour under Potter, playing just 2 minutes in the last 7 PL games.

Jean-Clair Todibo - 4 (Loan)

We don't know if Todibo is staying at West Ham for the long term, but he has shown some good signs this season, but neither Lopetegui nor Potter seem to fully trust him, starting just 12 games and despite starting the last 4 games under Potter, he has been subbed in all of those games, and in 3, before the 65th minute.

Carlos Soler - 4 (Loan)

Whilst Soler has not been particularly bad at West Ham, he has not particularly shone either, not completing a single 90 minutes in the PL this season and with just 0.5 chances created per game and duel win % of 36%, he isn't contributing too much on or off the ball.

Evan Ferguson - 2 (Loan)

Ferguson was brought in to as West Ham were having a striker crisis, but the Irishman is still not impressing Potter enough to start despite being the only recognised striker, coming off the bench for all 5 of his appearances so far, managing just 4 shots in 95 minutes of football for the Hammers.

Wolves

Andre - 7 (£18.4m)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

Andre was linked to many top clubs before Wolves surprisingly signed him in the summer and whilst he has been a mainstay in the team, especially under Vitor Pereira, starting every game when fit, he hasn't shown so much that top European club will be after him this summer.

Rodrigo Gomes - 4 (£12.5m)

Gomes at 21 years old has shown some promise from wing bac this season, starting 6 PL games this season and managing to score once, but with Nelson Semedo and Rayan Ait-Nouri ahead of him on both sides, gametime has been limited as so has his impact on the team.

Sam Johnstone - 1 (£9.6m)

Johnstone was clearly bought to be the no.1 keeper, starting his first 5 games at the club, but after 13 goals conceded in those games, he has started just 2 PL games since, conceding 2 goals in each game and is yet to make a PL appearance under Vitor Pereira.

Tommy Doyle - 2 (£4.2m)

After showing promise in his loan spell last season, Wolves decided to keep Doyle permanently, but he hasn't shown that same promise this season, starting just 3 PL games this season and has played just 111 minutes in 2025.

Jorgen Strand Larsen - 8 (Loan)

Strand Larsen is the only Wolves player other than Matheus Cunha to be a goal threat this season, scoring 9 PL goals this season and whilst his all-round play is to be desired, when he gets a chance, he takes it, as his 23% conversion rate is bettered by only 6 players.

Carlos Forbs - 1 (Loan)

It is very likely that Forbs won't be making his loan permanent in the summer as the Man City academy graduate has failed to make an impact at Wolves this season, making just 9 PL appearances with just 1 start and is still yet to register a goal or an assist for the club.

Pedro Lima - 5 (£8.4m)

Obviously Lima was brought for the future at just 18 years old, and he has looked bright in his 6 appearances this season, including a PL start, but its too soon to write him off or label him as the next best thing.

Emmanuel Agbadou - 7 (£16.7m)
Image: Getty
Image: Getty

Agbadou has immediately become a regular starter under Pereira, starting all 7 PL games available to himm and he has had a decent effect on Wolves, winning 67% of his duels as Wolves have gone from conceding 2.1 goals per game before his arrival and now 1.58 since the Ivorian joined the side.

Marshall Munetsi - 6 (£15m)

Munetsi has had a decent start to life at Wolves, grabbing 1 goal and 1 assist from attacking midfielder in his 5 PL games, and he seems to have the knack to get shots off, averaging 2.4 shots per game, the 2nd most of any Wolves player and he has already accumulated the 6th most xG (1.9) for Wolves in the PL.

Nasser Djiga - 4 (£10m)

Djiga has not had the immediate January impact unlike Agbadou and Munetsi, with the 22 year old defender having just 104 minutes of gametime since his arrival and just 19 in the PL, making it hard to gauge his readiness for the PL.
